of people. The way you make use of colours on your website can influence the overall
impression that people have on you and whatever information your website
provides.
Do not use too many colours on a page. Always try to have a
harmonious colour scheme made up of 2 to 7 colours. A colour scheme is the
choice of colours used for the different areas and element of the website
Colour schemes are used to create style and appeal. Colours
that create an aesthetic feeling when used together will commonly accompany
each other in colour scheme. A basic colour scheme will use two colours that look
appealing together. For normal plain text on your website such as post, make
sure that your text is readable. Don’t make people struggle to figure out what
you have written on the page. For your text to be effective, there must never
be placed on a background that contrast badly or does not blend properly with
it.
Fonts or Typeface
The typeface is the style of the writing used for the
textual content of the website. Typeface is also sometimes called font style.
The typeface of your text should be easily readable. Do not
make people work hard to try to read or understand what you have written
because there might not have the patience. If your website is too difficult to
read or use, visitors will not think twice before moving on to the next website
which is probably that of your competitor.
Your Desired Visitor Action (DVA)
This is what you will want your visitors to do when there
get to your web page. You must ensure that this DVA is been placed on a
strategic areas of your website where any visitor that comes in must first see
it. The goal of building any website should be to get the visitor take at least
